A 5 Star Umrah package is an Umrah trip built around hotels that Google and the hotel booking sites list as 5-star; on our ready-made packages, the Makkah hotel is 100 m to 300 m from Masjid al-Haram, or directly beside it on Luxury; private VIP vehicles carry you between Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and a scholar guides your Umrah. Meals rise to half or full board, and guided Ziyarat is part of every package rather than an extra.
Many hotels in Makkah and Madinah carry two ratings. The booking sites show the brand's own grade, while the Saudi Ministry of Tourism issues an official classification on the hotel's licence — and several famous hotels beside the Haram, such as Swissôtel Al Maqam and Pullman ZamZam Makkah, are sold as 5-star but hold an official 4-star licence. KAABA AND HARAM VIEWS
Which 5 Star Hotels in Makkah Have Kaaba-View Rooms?
On our packages, Kaaba-view rooms are at the Fairmont Clock Tower, Raffles Makkah Palace and Swissôtel Makkah — all three on our Luxury line, in the Abraj Al-Bait towers beside the Haram. A Kaaba view looks straight onto the Kaaba; a Haram view looks over the mosque and its courtyards, which is what the Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency and InterContinental Dar Al Tawhid offer in Makkah.
In Madinah, Pullman Zamzam Madina has Haram-view rooms, The Biltmore has rooms facing the Prophet's Mosque, and the Sofitel Shahd's Presidential Suite looks over the Haram plaza. View rooms are limited and go first in Ramadan, so ask for the view you want: your quote names the room type and its price.

How Does a 5 Star Umrah Run on 7, 10 or 14 Nights?
A private VIP vehicle meets you at Jeddah, and your scholar guides you through Umrah the day you reach Makkah. A guided Ziyarat of Makkah follows, then a road journey of about 450 km takes you to Madinah for its own Ziyarat. In Madinah, a visit to the Rawdah is booked in advance for a set time.

Guided Ziyarat in Makkah and Madinah comes with every 5 Star and Luxury package, led by your scholar or private guide. In Makkah the tours visit sites such as Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira, Jabal Thawr, Jannat al-Mu'alla, Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat; in Madinah they cover Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud and Masjid al-Qiblatayn. Each package's itinerary lists its exact stops.

Which Meals Come With 5 Star and Luxury Packages?
The 7 and 10-night 5 Star packages are half board, with breakfast and dinner; the 14-night 5 Star and every Luxury package are full board, with all three meals. On half board, lunch is the one meal you buy yourself.
The hotels make that easy: the Fairmont has eight restaurants, Pullman Zamzam Madina six dining venues, the Hyatt Regency four and The Biltmore four, from Al Ansar to the Moghul Room. You can also move a 7 or 10-night package up to full board in your quote.

Return flights leave from London, Manchester or Birmingham depending on your dates, and a private VIP vehicle — a private luxury vehicle on Luxury — covers every road journey: Jeddah to Makkah, Makkah to Madinah and back to the airport. Saudia flies direct to Jeddah from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and from Birmingham on selected dates; your quote names the airline, route and baggage allowance.

What Does a 5 Star Umrah Cost for a Couple, Family or Group?
A couple in a double room pays £2,170 on the 7-night 5 Star package, and two adults with two children aged 2 to 11 pay £3,150 in a quad room. Travelling alone, a single room on the same package is £1,465.
For a couple, the 7-night Luxury package costs £2,770 — £200 less than the 14-night 5 Star at £2,970 — while a family of four pays the same £4,280 on either. A child in the parents' bed is £595 on 5 Star 7 Nights and a baby under 2 is £255.

Yes. Any 5 Star or Luxury package can be lengthened, reordered or rebuilt: six nights in Makkah and four in Madinah, Madinah first, a 12-night trip, a Kaaba-view room, full board on a half-board package, or a flight from any UK airport. Each change is priced before you pay.

WHEN, WHO AND WHERE
When and From Where Should You Book a 5 Star Umrah?
Book a 5 Star Umrah as early as you can for Ramadan and the school holidays, when rooms beside the Haram sell first; term-time months give the widest choice of hotels and views.
Ramadan and Easter
Kaaba-view and Haram-view rooms for the last ten nights go before anything else, so plan Ramadan Umrah dates months ahead. In 2027 the Easter holidays Umrah packages have to end before the Hajj closure, with arrival by 23 March; full board on a Luxury package saves finding meals for children between prayers.
Women, families and groups
Women aged 18 and over do not need a Mahram, so a 5 Star trip suits women travelling together — see Umrah for women. Grandparents gain most from a hotel at 300 m or less, which makes this tier a natural fit for Umrah with your family, and mosque or family groups can book private group Umrah with a dedicated group leader. Short-notice trips are quoted on the day, with the hotels that still have rooms.

Can I fly direct to Saudi Arabia on a 5 Star Umrah?
Yes, where the route allows: Saudia's direct flights leave Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and Birmingham on selected dates. Other dates and airports use a connecting flight, and your quote names the airline, stops and baggage.
Is the Haramain train included on 5 Star packages?
The packages travel between Makkah and Madinah by private VIP vehicle. The Haramain High-Speed Railway can replace that leg on request, priced in your quote.
Can you help elderly pilgrims or wheelchair users on a 5 Star Umrah?
Yes. Wheelchair-accessible transfers and hotel rooms are arranged on request, and the 5 Star hotels are within about 300 m of the Haram, so the walk is short.
When is a 5 Star Umrah cheapest?
Term-time months such as January, June, September and November give the widest choice of rooms at lower prices. Ramadan and the school holidays cost most, so book those early.
Can I book a 5 Star Umrah at short notice?
