Is September a Good Time for Umrah?
Yes, if you are not tied to school holidays: children in England and Wales are back in class from the first days of September, so the whole month sells at our year-round prices and any date can be booked. It is still hot, and it suits pilgrims who put flexibility and price ahead of cool weather.
Retired couples, working pilgrims with leave to use, parents of pre-school children and first-timers who would rather avoid the holiday rush all travel in September.

How Hot Is Makkah in September?
Still summer: Makkah averages 43°C by day and 29°C at night in September, and Madinah 42°C and 29°C. The real change comes in October, when Makkah's afternoons drop to 40°C and Madinah's to 37°C, so the later in September you go, the closer you are to the cooler season. Keep Tawaf and Sa'i for the night and the hours after Fajr.

Is September the Month for a Long Umrah?
It is the easiest month for one: with no holiday pricing, the cost per night falls as the stay grows, from about £71 a night for an Economy week to about £37 a night for 21 nights. Three weeks cost from £780 per adult with four sharing on Economy and £795 on 3 Star, and eighteen 4 Star nights with half board from £815. Shorter trips are on 7-day Umrah tours, 10-day Umrah tours and two week Umrah deals.

What Are the Important Things to Arrange for a September Umrah?
Five things: a valid passport, the visa, the meningitis ACWY vaccination, travel insurance and clothing for the heat. Every package includes the Saudi visa, with its cost in the price; the Saudi Umrah visa explains the rules for your passport.

Can You Book a Luxury Umrah Package in September?
Yes. Our Luxury tier costs from £1,385 per adult with four sharing for ten nights and £1,635 for fourteen, with full board, a private luxury vehicle, a private Umrah guide and a scholar on both lengths. In September those prices apply on any date, which makes it the month to book the top tier without a holiday supplement. What every tier includes is compared on inclusive Umrah deals.
SEPTEMBER OR ANOTHER MONTH?
Is September Cheaper Than August or the October Half-Term?
Yes: August and the October half-term week are school-holiday dates, priced for those dates, while every September date is sold at the year-round price. October outside the half-term costs the same as September and is cooler. For the busiest season of the year see Ramadan Umrah from London and Manchester, and for spring planning Umrah and the Easter holidays.
FLIGHTS AND TRANSFERS
Are September Umrah Flights Direct or Indirect?
Either, and you choose. Saudia is the only airline flying direct from the UK, to Jeddah, from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and from Birmingham on selected dates; there is no direct flight to Madinah, and every other UK airport connects through a hub. Connecting routes through a hub usually cost less. Road transfers are included; the Haramain high-speed train between Makkah and Madinah can be quoted as an upgrade.

£50 per person holds your booking and is part of the price; 50% of the price is due within 24 hours, and the balance 20 days before departure. Every package with flights is protected by ATOL 74904.
