What Is a Family Umrah Package?
A family Umrah package is a ready-priced Umrah trip for parents, children and often grandparents, with one room or connecting rooms for the family, a lower price for each child and a total you know before you book. Flights, the Saudi visa for each traveller, both hotels and the transfers are included on every tier; meals, the Umrah guide and Ziyarat grow as you move up from Economy to 5 Star.
There are three ways to book: a ready-made package for 7, 10 or 14 nights, one of our school-holiday departures with fixed dates and flights, or a trip we build around your own dates, hotels and room layout.

How Much Does a Family Umrah Cost for 4, 5 or 6 People?
Two adults and two children aged 2–11 sharing a quad room pay from £1,890 for 7 nights on Economy, £2,020 on 3 Star, £2,190 on 4 Star and £3,150 on 5 Star. A third child sleeping in the parents' bed adds £355 to £595, depending on the tier.
Going for two weeks? On 14 nights, two adults and two children pay £2,400 on Economy and £2,510 on 3 Star. These are term-time prices; summer and other school holidays cost more.

How Are Children and Babies Priced on an Umrah Package?
Every package has five prices by age: adult, youth aged 12–15, child aged 2–11 with their own bed, child sharing the parents' bed, and baby under 2. On every tier a child with their own bed costs about 11% less than an adult, a child in the parents' bed about 29% less and a baby about 70% less.

How Can a Family of 3 to 6 Stay Together?
A family of three takes a triple room and a family of four a quad; for five or six, the youngest can share the parents' bed, you can take two rooms, or we can ask for a five or six-bed family room. Connecting rooms are guaranteed when you ask for them.

CHOOSING A TIER
Which Package Tier Suits a Family Best?
With toddlers or grandparents, the walk to the Haram matters most, so 4 Star (200 m on 7 nights) and 5 Star (250 m) suit them best; families with older children often choose Economy or 3 Star and walk about ten minutes. Meals matter too: on room-only packages, plan the children's meals; on half board, lunch is the only meal to buy.

When Can UK Families Go on Umrah?
Most families travel in the school holidays — the October half-term, Christmas, the summer and, in 2027, a February half-term that falls in Ramadan — when prices are higher and seats go first, so book those dates early. In 2027 the Easter holidays and the May half-term fall inside the Hajj closure. A 4 Star week costs a family of four from £2,190 in term time; our October half-term 4 Star departure is £3,578, with half board and Saudia flights from Birmingham.

Family of four means two parents with two children under 12 in one quad room. Two of the Christmas departures use a private 7-seater for every road transfer, which fits a family of five or six with luggage.
UMRAH WITH CHILDREN
Can Young Children Perform Umrah?
Yes. There is no minimum age: boys wear Ihram like men, girls wear modest everyday clothing, and babies can be carried through Tawaf and Sa'i. Every child needs their own Saudi visa, issued alongside a parent's, and it is part of the child's package price.
Plan Tawaf for the quieter hours, such as after Fajr or late at night, keep sessions short and keep everyone drinking water. A hotel a short walk from the Haram makes the biggest difference with small children, and on long flights Saudia's direct flights to Jeddah from Heathrow, Gatwick or Manchester cut the journey.
THREE GENERATIONS
Is a Family Umrah Suitable for Grandparents and Wheelchair Users?
Yes. Wheelchair-accessible transfers and hotel rooms are arranged on request on any package, and the hotels on our 4 Star 7-night and 5 Star packages, 200–300 m from the Haram, keep the walk short for grandparents. Wheelchair users can perform Tawaf and Sa'i on the mosque's upper levels.
Three generations on 4 Star 7 Nights — grandparents in a double, parents and two children in a quad — pay £3,850, and connecting rooms keep everyone side by side. The 4 Star and 5 Star packages also use private transfers, so the whole family travels together with its luggage.

Yes. We can build an Umrah around your own dates — any hotel, a family room or connecting rooms, Madinah first, more nights in Madinah, and flights from any UK airport — and price it before you pay. Already have flights? We also sell land-only packages, with hotels, transfers and Ziyarat arranged on the ground.
Two or three families travelling together can book as Umrah as a private group with their own Umrah guide; a guide works best with up to 12 pilgrims.
WHEN, WHO AND WHERE
Which Months, Cities and Trip Lengths Work for Families?
The school holidays decide most family trips; children under school age give you the full calendar, including the cheaper term-time months.
Ramadan and Easter
Ramadan falls in February and March in 2027, and the February half-term (15 to 19 February in most of England) sits inside it, so Umrah during Ramadan is possible in a school holiday. Easter is different: in 2027 the Easter holidays begin after the last Umrah entry date; see Easter Umrah deals for the dates.
Mothers, groups and everything included

Length of stay
Families can choose 7-night Umrah packages for a half-term week, a 10-night Umrah or 14-night Umrah packages in the summer.

How Do You Book a Family Umrah?
Tell us who is coming and the children's ages, and we quote the whole family with named hotels and the room layout. £50 per person holds your booking and is part of the price; 50% of the price is due within 24 hours, and the balance 20 days before departure. The balance can be paid in up to two instalments, and a booking made within 20 days of departure is paid in full once the tickets are issued.
- Send your dates, airport and party — adults, each child's age, any baby, and whether grandparents need a wheelchair.
- Check the quote — both hotels, the rooms (connecting rooms or a family room if you asked) and the total.
- Hold with £50 per person and pay 50% within 24 hours — your tickets and ATOL certificate follow — then the balance, in up to two instalments, at least 20 days before you fly.
- Travel with support — our call centre answers 24/7, our network in Makkah and Madinah reaches you within 45 minutes, and group departures have a group leader.

How much is a family Umrah package for a family of four?
From £1,890 for a week on Economy — about £473 a head for two parents and two children under 12 in one room — up to £3,150 for a 5 Star week. Each total covers flights, visas, both hotels and transfers.
How much does Umrah cost for a family of five or six?
Two adults and three children, with the youngest in the parents' bed, pay from £2,245 for 7 nights on Economy and £2,400 on 3 Star. A six-strong, three-generation family using a double plus a quad starts at £3,390 on Economy.
Do children pay less on Umrah packages?
Yes, on every package. Under-12s with their own bed pay roughly a ninth less than an adult, a child sleeping in your bed nearly a third less, and 12 to 15-year-olds have a separate youth rate.
How much is a baby under 2 on an Umrah package?
From £155 on Economy 7 Nights, rising to £350 on 5 Star 14 Nights. Ask us for a cot when you book; some hotels charge for it.
Can we have connecting rooms on a family Umrah?
Yes — ask when you book and we guarantee them. Some hotels can also give a five or six-bed family room instead.
Is Umrah suitable for toddlers and young children?

Yes. Every package with flights is protected by ATOL 74904, and the ATOL certificate comes with your tickets once the 50% payment is made; the number can be checked on the CAA's ATOL holder search.
