Will Umrah Be Open in April 2027?

Only for the first days, and only for pilgrims who are already there: the last day to enter for Umrah is 23 March 2027, and every Umrah pilgrim must leave Saudi Arabia by 7 April. No one can fly out to start an Umrah in April 2027. No date has been announced yet for Umrah to reopen after Hajj 2027; our estimate is early June 2027. The dates are from Saudi Arabia's published Umrah calendar for 1448.

How Can You Do Umrah in April 2027?

By arriving in late March and staying into April: the month you arrive in matters, not the month you are there. Arriving on 23 March, a 7-night trip ends on 30 March, so a stay needs at least nine nights to reach April, and fifteen nights is the longest that still leaves by 7 April.

For example, our twelve-night 4 Star package that starts in Madinah, arriving on 23 March and flying home on 4 April, costs from £685 per adult with four sharing, with breakfast at both hotels.

How Much Is an April Umrah Package?

Trips that arrive in late March and end in early April use our year-round prices: ten nights start at £560 per adult with four sharing on Economy, and fourteen at £640. The tiles show fourteen-night prices for every tier, the length that makes the most of the days by 7 April.

Can You Do Umrah in the Easter Holidays 2027?

Only where term ends early: schools in Wales and Leicester finish on Friday 19 March 2027, so families there can arrive by 23 March inside the holidays; Easter Sunday is 28 March. In many English councils term ends on 25 March, and in Manchester and Glasgow on 2 April, so a family trip from there has to start before term ends; otherwise the summer holidays are the next school break with Umrah open.

When Should You Go If April Does Not Work?
