What Is a Group Umrah Package?
A group Umrah package takes pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah together on the same flights, hotels and transfers, with a group leader running the trip in Saudi Arabia and a guide performing Umrah alongside you.
You can join one of our group departures, which have fixed dates and seats sold to individual pilgrims, or book a private group — a mosque, a circle of friends or an extended family — on your own dates. Private groups can be any size, and the price per person falls as the group grows.

Our next group departures are the October half-term week from Birmingham and the last ten nights of Ramadan 2027 from Heathrow, both with Saudia flights, 4-star hotels, half board, private transfers, a group Umrah guide and guided Ziyarat. Every group departure includes a pre-departure briefing and a WhatsApp group, and ladies' groups can travel with a female leader.

Can You Join a Group Umrah on Your Own?
Yes. A pilgrim travelling alone is placed in a four, three or two-person room with pilgrims of the same gender and pays that room's price; anyone who wants a room to themselves pays the single price. On the October half-term group that means £949 in a quad or £1,685 in a private room.

What Does a Group Umrah Cost for 8, 12, 20 or 40 Pilgrims?
Twelve pilgrims in three quad rooms on 4 Star 7 Nights cost £6,960 at the standard package price, and a mosque group of 40 on Economy 7 Nights £20,000 — before the group-size discount, which grows with the group and is set out in your quote.
Mixing room types changes the total: a couple in a double adds £250 each on most packages, and children pay less, with prices by age shown on family Umrah deals.

LEADER AND GUIDE
Who Leads a Group Umrah, and What Do They Do?
On a group departure, a dedicated group leader manages everything on the ground — hotel check-ins, transfers and timings — while an Umrah guide performs Umrah with the group and explains each rite. Guides speak English, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali and more.
We usually allow one guide for every 12 pilgrims, so a mosque group of 40 travels with three or four guides; scholar-led groups are larger and busier. Before you fly, the group meets for a briefing on the rites and what to pack, and a WhatsApp group keeps everyone in touch. Our call centre answers 24/7 throughout the trip.

How Do You Organise a Mosque or Community Group Umrah?
Agree the dates and hotel tier, send us the number of pilgrims and who will share rooms, and we quote the group price — then each pilgrim books and pays for their own seat.
- Choose dates and a tier — term time costs less than Ramadan and the school holidays.
- Send the list — numbers, men and women, couples who want a double, children's ages, and the departure airport.
- Get the group quote — named hotels, the room plan and the price per person after the group-size discount.
- Each pilgrim pays their share — £50 to hold the seat, then 50% of the price on top within 24 hours, when the tickets and ATOL certificate are issued, and the balance at least 20 days before departure, in up to two instalments.
- Brief the group — the pre-departure briefing and WhatsApp group follow, and a group leader meets you in Saudi Arabia.

WHO TRAVELS IN GROUPS
Who Is Group Umrah For?
Group Umrah suits mosque and community groups, friends and colleagues, extended families, women travelling together, and anyone going alone who wants company and a leader.
Women aged 18 and over do not need a Mahram, and a female leader can travel with a group of women — see ladies' Umrah groups. Children and grandparents travel happily in groups: children pay less by age, and wheelchair-accessible transfers and hotel rooms are arranged on request.

Can a Private Group Choose Its Own Itinerary?
Yes. A private group chooses its dates, hotels, nights in each city, Madinah first or Makkah first, the departure airport and the Ziyarat plan, and we build a tailor-made Umrah itinerary around it.
Groups can also add a halal holiday after Umrah — our Umrah with four nights in Istanbul adds a city break in Turkey, and other stopovers such as Dubai are arranged on request.

When and From Where Do Group Umrah Trips Run?
Ramadan, December and the half-terms are the busiest times for groups, so book those first; term-time months are cheaper and quieter.
Ramadan and Easter
Our last-ten-nights Ramadan group flies from Heathrow on 27 February 2027; for other dates see our Ramadan Umrah offers. A group planning Umrah over Easter needs to arrive by 23 March, before entry closes for Hajj.

How Is a Group Umrah Booked and Protected?
£50 per person holds your booking and is part of the price; 50% of the price is due within 24 hours, and the balance 20 days before departure. The balance can be paid in up to two instalments, and a booking made within 20 days of departure is paid in full once the tickets are issued.
Every package with flights is protected by ATOL 74904. Our office is at 13 Station Road, London SE25 5AH (weekdays 9am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm), and our travel agents answer the phone and WhatsApp 24/7. Pilgrims with other passports are welcome too: the visa for your nationality is confirmed in your quote. Cancellation terms are in our terms.

How much does a group Umrah cost per person from the UK?

What is the minimum size for a private group Umrah?
There is none: two or three friends can book as a private group, and so can a mosque of 40 or more.
If I join a group alone, who will I share a room with?
With other pilgrims of the same gender, in a room for four, three or two, and you pay that room's price. If you prefer your own room, you pay the single price.
Is a group leader included on group Umrah packages?
